What is Your Middle Name?

Happy middle name pride day!

Yup, it's actually a day that some people celebrate and we decided that we wanted to join in on the fun.

To celebrate we are going to change our names to our middle name's for the rest of the day and we encourage you to do the same. Jess' middle name is "Leigh", if you missed it, I did ask her if there was any family significance to it and she said that her mom just liked the way it flowed off the tongue.

My mom said the same thing when she blessed me with the middle name of "Anthony". Growing up the only time I ever heard my middle name was when I did something wrong. I knew my mom wasn't playing around when I heard her screaming "Jason Anthony get down here NOW!" Yes Jason is my legal name. LOL.

Did your parents ever use your middle name when you got in trouble? I know with my kids now, I use their middle names when I trying to be sympathetic. If my daughter tells me something that bothered her at school or something upset her, my voice always drops down and I'm always like "Julianna Marie, it'll be OK."
