Goodbye Mrs Wolowitz

It has been a year of loss for The Big Bang Theory, one of the best sitcoms on TV and I am not alone in that belief. Just recently they lost an actor who enjoyed making cameos with Sheldon, Leonard Nimoy. The show offered a wonderful tribute to Spock.

Tonight, however they will pay tribute to another loss which happened last November. On November 11 2014, Carol Ann Susi lost her short battle with cancer. She famously played Mrs. Wolowitz. Howard's Mom. Her voice was a staple on the show, but she reportedly only appeared once during Howard and Bernadette's wedding. I often thought that the actress who played Bernadette did the Mrs Wolowitz voice. She is good at it.

It took a while to get season 8 of The Big Bang Theory off the ground. There were a lot of contract to be signed by members of the cast. It finally came together in time to get this season underway in late September of 2014.  FYI the cast has signed on for 2 more season following this one. I bet they never thought they would be saying goodbye to so many friends this season.

They have had a few episodes referencing Mrs Wolowitz's death, they even had her ashes lost in Howard's luggage but tonight they eat the last brisket she ever made for he son. Kleenex is ready turn on the TV
