A cow flop is an actual thing that could be fun for everyone. I can't believe I have never heard of this before.

It's something called a "cow flop" and it's happening on Saturday September 21st at Palatine Park located at 50 Palatine Park Road in Germantown and depending on how the cow "goes" could mean some prizes for you.

You may be asking yourself the same question I asked myself, "What is a cow flop?" I was told that a cow flop is an event where a bunch of numbered squares are randomly placed around an area outside and once the squares are down, a cow is released near the squares until nature takes its' course on one of the squares and when the cow goes on a square, that's the winning square and prizes are awarded.

The cow flop is being put on by the Germantown Farmers Market and if you are interested in buying tickets, you can buy them for $5 each at the farmers market before the event starts at noon on the 21st.

They will also have food, fun, kids activities and raffles on the day of the event. If you need more information or want tickets you can email them at germantownfarmersmarket@gmail.com
