This is BANANAS! An insanely popular baseball team shared a new TikTok video over the weekend and showed a little love to the Hudson Valley.

The Savannah Bananas channel their inner Moobie! That probably sounds like a riddle, but I promise it all makes sense, let me explain.

Who are The Savannah Bananas?

If you haven't heard of the Savannah Bananas, you're missing out. The Southern baseball team has a unique perspective on America's favorite pastime. They bring this whole new performance aspect to baseball.

It's kind of like the Harlem Globetrotters do with basketball. The Savannah Banana website explains they play "Banana Ball– the fastest and most entertaining game of baseball" adding:

Our players perform choreographed dances every game – Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Mariah Carey – You name it, they’ve danced to it.

Over the last few years, the Bananas have gained hundreds of thousands of fans thanks to their huge presence on TikTok. According to their website, since they first began playing Banana Ball, they've sold out every single game "over 200 and counting."

From their field in Georgia to Fenway Park...they're selling out every game!

Savannah Bananas Shoutout Poughkeepsie, New York

As we mentioned The Bananas are huge on TikTok and they're always posting trending videos of them dancing, singing, or performing to viral sounds.

Over the weekend one of the trending sounds they used was from Moobie. More on Moobie later. But first check out Savannah Banana's Jackson Olsen give  Poughkeepsie, New York some love:

Pretty cool, right? Now how can we get the Bananas to the Hudson Valley? Or if they can play Fenway Park, why not Yankee Stadium!? One could dream... Now on to Moobie.

Who is Moobie and How Did She Make Poughkeepsie, NY Go Viral?

The sound you hear Jackson Olsen lipsyncing too was from a TikTok creator named Moobie. She's a recent college grad and is currently working at Barstool Sports. Moobie graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie in 2024.

While studying and playing Lacross for Marist she also found time to make some of the funniest, most random content on TikTok. She took the song End of Beginning by Djo and changed the words to incorporate Poughkeepsie. There's also a stump involved. If you drove down West Ceder in Poughkeepsie during Moobie's time at Marist you probably saw said stump on the front lawn.

And just like that a viral moment was born. Thanks for putting PKNY on the map, Moobie.
