Post Malone Goes Country, Announces 3 New York Stops on Country Tour
It's going to be an exciting September for fans of Post Malone in New York.
Post Malone Goes Country
When Post Malone first started to pop on the Billboard charts in 2017 he was considered more of a hip-hop/R&B artist. He collaborated with artists like 21 Savage and Ty Dolla Sign.
Rockstar (off the Beerbongs & Bentleys album) became the biggest hit in 2017 taking the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and staying there for 8 consecutive weeks.
For the next few years, his hip-hop/R&B career took off and he became one of the most popular artists of our time. But we slowly started to see Posty start dipping his toes into the country music world.
After a country music jam sesh went viral, it seemed like a Post Malone country album was a sure thing.
I Had Some Help Featuring Morgan Wallen Takes Over Country Radio
In May of 2024, Post Malone teamed up with Morgan Wallen, for his first country single called "I Had Some Help," but the song didn't need any help at all.
The Malone-Wallen collaboration proved to be successful as the song shot up the country music charts. Shortly after the song was released Malone announced his first-ever country album called F-1 Trillion to be released on August 16th, 2024.

It looks like there will be more collaborations, specifically one with Blake Shelton called "Pour Me a Drink."
