Plattekill Fire Department Announces Psychic Fundraiser
The Plattekill Fire Department posted today on the Facebook page that they are finally able to reschedule a very popular fundraiser for Sunday August 9, 2020. Messages From Heaven with Psychic Medium Lisa Morrison is back on the calendar.
The fire department has had to make some changes to how the event will run in order to ensure social distancing. One of the big changes is that you will need to buy your tickets in advance. The cost is $40 per person and tickets will be a pre-sale only for this event with no walk up allowed. This is due to the fact that they are arranging seating for the event in order to provide proper social distancing.
You can expect to have a wonderful time but all social distancing protocols will be met. You will need to wear a mask when entering, moving around or exiting the building. You can remove your mask when you are seated. They are also making arrangements for individually wrapped refreshments.
If you have never attend this type of event it is important that you come with an open mind. The Plattekill Fire Department is at 50 Old Fire House Road and the event runs from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. For Tickets contact Dara at 845-224-9041. This is a great way to enjoy an afternoon and support a local fire company.
It is always a good idea to check in at your local fire department or follow them on social media. Many of our Hudson Valley fire companies rely on fundraising to help them service our communities. Check i to see how you can support your local fire company this summer.
