I certainly don't have to tell anyone how hard our Hudson Valley first responders work day and night. I spend a lot of time on social media because of work, and daily I see accidents that require emergency personnel to show up.

I am not quite sure how this accident unfolded on Sunday but it sure looks like from the pictures it was bad. Fortunately, according to the post on social media from the Cronmer Valley Fire Department, there were no serious injuries in the cars or the home.

The accident happened late Sunday afternoon around 4:46 PM. The report came in as a rollover accident into a building on Plattekill Ardonia Road. This road is highly traveled. It serves as a great way to bypass the Thruway when going to and from Orange and Ulster Counties.

The Cronomer Valley Fire Department was dispatched to help in the Plattekill Fire District. When they arrived, according to the fire department's post, they found two cars had an accident, resulting in one of the vehicles going through a wall of a home.

Firefighters took care of the scene, securing all hazardous materials, and they also stabilized the structure. They were able to get all of the work done by 7 PM.

Update From Separate Post: Apparently, the homeowner/resident has had to leave the house until repairs are finished. A GoFundMe has been set up for Mayra Saavedra. One of the cars in the pictures was parked and belonged to the homeowner. More details are in the GoFundMe Post.
