NYS Thruway Plattekill Service Area Adds More
Over the last few years, numerous rest areas along the New York State Thruway have undergone major renovations and upgrades to give drivers along the 426-mile mainline road that connects New York City and Buffalo more options to eat, fuel up, and rest. The Plattekill rest area completed most of its new upgrades in the last year or so adding Burger King, Starbucks, and one of the Hudson Valley's only Chick-fil-A restaurants.
Now that great food options are available, the folks that operate all of the Thruway Service Areas, Applegreen have also made charging all EVs much easier for anyone who drives an electric vehicle. They have recently added six new universal fast electric vehicle charging stations at the Plattekill Service Area on the northbound side of the NYS thruway between exits 17 and 18 according to the NYS Thruway Authority.
