More Foods Recalled Due to Possible Glass Fragments
How many frozen pizzas or frozen dinners do you have at home? Even though I cook most of my family's meals, I have a stash of frozen dinners and pizzas in the freezer for those crazy days. I now need to double check all of them because of the latest recall from Nestle USA.
According to a company press release, Nestlé USA has issued a voluntary recall of a limited number of DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine, and Stouffer’s products due to the chance of glass pieces in these foods. This recall covers only specific production codes of the following products: DiGiorno Thin & Crispy Spinach and Garlic Pizza, Rising Crust Spinach and Mushroom Pizza, Thin Crust Spinach and Mushroom Pizza, Tuscan-style Chicken Pizza; Lean Cuisine Spinach and Mushroom Pizza, Spinach Artichoke Ravioli, Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli, Spinach, Artichoke & Chicken Panini, Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli; Stouffer’s Vegetable Lasagna (10 oz., 37 oz. and 96 oz. sizes), Spinach Soufflé, and Chicken Lasagna.
Click here for all of the specific productions codes. As of this writing, no injuries have been reported, but these small pieces of glass could cause injury. The company believes the source of the glass is with the spinach, a common ingredient among all the products subject to this recall.
If you have any of these products listed above, do not eat them, please call Nestlé Consumer Services at 1-800-681-1676.
