I can feel the excitement of the entire Hudson Valley brewing as we all get ready to officially enter into "Phase Two" of the re-opening of the Mid Hudson region of New York. Phase two means that hair salons and barber shops can open up their doors once again to service the long hair of the Valley.

Most of us have been waiting three months to get our haircut and the time is finally here, unless your like me and decided a few weeks ago to just shave it all off...LOL. If you've been waiting patiently, start making your appointments now as most hair places are re-opening today.

With the openings happening across the Hudson Valley, all places are going to look and feel different then the last time you were there as certain guidelines have been put in place to keep us all safe while receiving our cuts.

Here are the guidelines that my barber shared with me, all people must stay 6 feet apart inside when not receiving or giving hair services, waiting rooms will remain closed, and everyone will need to wear masks at all times, which means no beard trims for guys.
