Would This Disappoint You?

Every Wednesday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we do what we can to try and help out a fan of the radio show with some advice with an issue they are dealing with. We call it "We Gotcha Wednesday" where each Wednesday we grab an email from a fan on the Wolf and read it to you on the air, hoping that you might have some advice or guidance for the person who emailed us.

Each week the problem varies, some weeks its a serious issue, other weeks not some much. This week we talk gift giving and receiving. Here's the email we got for today....

"Guys I hate to even bring something like this up but I thought I would ask you all instead of anyone who actually knows who I am..wink…wink. I’ve be in a relationship with my guy for just over two years and this Christmas I went all out and got him a great gift. I bought him new rims and tires for his pick-up truck. Yup they we extremely pricey but I felt good about getting them for him. He’s been asking for a longtime. So on Christmas morning I gave him a card with a picture of the tires and rims in it and he gave me card in return. He opened his and freaked out. HE LOVED IT! I opened mine and it was a $50 gift card to Victoria secret. Between us I was so disappointed and now I feel out of sorts with him. Was I wrong to be disappointed?"

Definitely a tough spot, what do you guys think? Was she wrong to feel disappointment? I don't think she was wrong but I do think that she needs to figure out some sort of way to move past it because if not it could be the beginning of the end of the relationship.
