I've lost track of the number of auto recalls over the past several months. GM has recalled almost 39 million vehicles, Toyota has had it's share of problems recently and there's some talk that another recall may be on the way soon for faulty springs, and now it's Ford's turn.

Ford has issued 6 separate recalls which, at this point, affects 100,000 models. Some of the issues are front axles that can decouple from the transmission causing a loss of power and possible roll away, power steering failures, electrical shorts, and floor mat issues. Some license plate lamp terminal's can corrode and cause a small fire, the panoramic glass roof can leak or even separate from it's mounting brackets, the fuel tank leaks on some models, and there is an issue with brake calipers that could cause a leak and reduced brake performance.
