Thank You Officer Donald Swartz

Being a police officer isn't an easy job, especially these days with everything that is going on in the world but one Hudson Valley police officer made it look easy.

Donald Swartz is a New York City Police officer that lives in the Hudson Valley.  Donald has been a member of the NYPD for 15 years.

Donald is willing to put his life on the line every single day to keep us safe.  Donald is also a caring, compassionate human being that is also in the business of helping people.

As reported by the Rockland Report, last Friday, while working in his Transit District 3, Officer Swartz observed a blind woman trying to hail a cab in busy New York City.  Officer Swartz quickly moved into action and hailed a cab for the lady who was waiting in the pouring rain.
