Say it Ain’t Snow

Yes there is more snow on the way this weekend. Sunday however we are going to get rain. The temperature may reach 40 which is down right warm compared to the temps we have had lately. Spring is just around the corner even if it doesn't feel like it yet. There are signs everywhere. You just need to look around your house.

Have you seen a Lady Bug? They are a sure sign the spring is on the way. They are a bit of a nuisance as they try to find their way to the outside. Flying and bouncing and crawling up windows to feed on the sunshine. I usually have to open windows and screens for about 2 weeks at my house once the hibernating hordes start hatching and looking for the outdoors. Totally worth the trouble though knowing that they are the sign that warmer weather is on it's way. Not to mention but they are a great bug to have around because they eat other bugs.

Before you know it the snow will melt, the crocuses will pop and all this snow and arctic blast will be a thing of the past. Stay warm for a few more weeks. Warmer days are on the way.
