If you're trying to plan a weekend getaway with the family, nothing says fun like a trip to a water park!

The summer of 2020 is shaping up to be an extremely weird time to try and plan any sort of vacation because of the coronavirus. How many people reading this right now have said, "We want to go away but were not sure whats open?" I think I've said that at least 25 times in the last two weeks. LOL!

Well if your like me and have kids and are trying to plan something fun this summer, why not plan a quick weekend trip to the Enchanted Forest Water Safari. Yes it's a bit of a drive, about 3 and a half hours from Dutchess County but c'mon it's a water park so it's well worth it for me!

Enchanted Forest Water Safari is located in the Adirondacks, in Old Forge and according to CBS 6, they've announced plans to open for the 2020 amusement and water park season. A park representative told CBS 6 that they're planning to open this Saturday, June 27th.

Once they reopen there will be specific guidelines and rules that all guests will need to follow including, social distancing at all times, all guests will be required to wear face masks everywhere in the park, except when they are on any water slides or in pools.

All employees of the park will be required to wear face masks at all times and they will also be screened daily for signs of COVID-19 before being allowed to work at the park.

If you're interested in planning a trip to the park, reservations are required. You can make reservations online here or by calling them at (315) 369-6145.
