Looking for a fun thing to do this Saturday that doesn't involve a costume or a mob at a party. Well here is the perfect good time for you. Get you crafty side on at the Huguenot Street Cooperative Nursery School's Sip and Paint. No, this is not a kid event but it will be helping some local kids. This is an evening of painting and wine with one of the schools wonderful preschool teachers, April Taylor.

April will guide you through painting a fall evening scene and by the end you will feel like you painted your own Van Gogh. All the painting supplies you will need to enjoy this experience will be provided along with a light refreshment and snacks. Painters who are 21 years and older will receive a glass of wine provided by T. Edward Wines and Spirits. There will also be non-alcoholic drinks provide throughout the event.

The Paint and Sip event with the Huguenot Street Cooperative Nursery School will take place at the Reformed Church of New Paltz located at 92 Huguenot Street in New Paltz. The time is 7 PM to 9 PM. Ticket are just $40 dollars and this event is a fundraiser for the school.

The Huguenot Street Cooperative Nursery School is a non-profit, non-sectarian, cooperative school for children ages 2 – 5. It relies on parents, teachers and students to work together and participate in every aspect of the school.

If you have always want to go to a sip and paint this is a great place to start. Most artist will tell you they owe a lot of their career to an art teach. April is ready to help you find that inner artist.
