Iconic New Paltz Deli has Reopened

One of the most popular delis in New Paltz, New York has announced that they have reopened!

There are a few places scattered across the Hudson Valley that have a special place in many hearts and stomachs and if you live in or near New Paltz you were well aware that one of them had temporally closed to undergo renovations.

For many years part of my weekend routine would involve a stop or two at the Convenient Deli on Main Street in New Paltz for early morning breakfast sandwiches. Mind you this was many years ago when I would spend many late nights working in the bars further down Main Street but one thing I always looked forward to was a breakfast sandwich from "Convenient" for the drive home (yes those drives were normally when the sun was coming up....LOL!)

Food and beer runs for many in the New Paltz area often included Convenient Deli and when I first heard they were closing I was surprised (and sad) but thankfully after doing a little digging I discovered that they were only temporally closed while they did some much-needed renovations and it appears they are just about complete and ready to serve customers again.

As you can see in the video below the deli & café located at 186 Main St, New Paltz, NY has reopened after undergoing renovations, and are excited to begin serving the area again! According to their Facebook page, they will be open for business from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. seven days a week and will offer a limited menu for now but are expecting to have their full menu available soon.

"Please note that some sections of the new menu is not available At the moment, also Orders online are not yet set up. we literally had to open a day after receiving the permit, couldn’t wait another day .Hopefully starting next week everything will be ready."
