July Fourth Mantle at Christy Cottage

I love to decorate our little home, known as our cottage, but my favorite space is the mantle. In fact, I think it may have been the mantle that made me fall in love with our house in the first place. Every month, sometimes with help from my grandsons, I decorate it either with a color theme, lots of pictures, sentimental items, or whatever we feel like using to celebrate a holiday, birthday, anniversary, or any occasion we want.

This month it’s all about the Fourth of July and the red, white, and blue. You know that there is always at least one sentimental item on the mantle and this time it's the Christmas light bulbs and the silk flowers, which I talk about in this month's video.
