Jarred Peach and Mixed Fruit Recall

If you have recently purchased fruit in glass jars, please double check which brand and lot number they are to protect you and your family. According to the FDA, Milky Way International Trading Corp. is initiating a voluntary recall of 'Nice! Peach Slices' and 'Nice! Mixed Fruit' in 8-ounce glass jars because they may contain pieces of glass mixed in with the fruit, which could cause injury if swallowed.

The jars of 'Nice! Peach Slices' and 'Nice! Mixed Fruit' were sold at Walgreens stores nationwide and, as of this writing, there has been one complaint about the peaches but none for the mixed fruit.

The voluntary recall is limited to specific production codes. You can find the lot codes on the neck of the glass jars. If you have purchased any of these products with the affected production codes, do not eat them. You can return them to where you purchased them for a refund.
