
Cats Rescued From Deplorable Situation Now Safe in Newburgh
Once again, there is a group of animals in New York that, by no fault of their own, are in need of help. Luckily, the Hudson Valley SPCA in Newburgh is handling the case, which includes numerous cats.

Without getting into any of the legalities that surround this situation, I want to get the word out for the Hudson Valley SPCA. They need help caring for these cats, who are in pretty rough shape.

Once again, a human being with good intentions or not has left a group of animals in a desperate situation. Fortunately, the HVSPCA in Newburgh has been able to jump in and help.
According to a GoFundMe post, the Hudson Valley SPCA is calling this the most complicated rescue they have done to date. The woman who was in possession of the cats was evicted in New York City but ended up in Orange County, with the cats reportedly living on a broken-down school bus.

Apparently, when the woman left New York on a bus, she took an estimated 100 cats with her. When she was found by the Hudson Valley SPCA's Humane Law Enforcement team, she only had 64 with her. It is not known what happened to the cats who are missing.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the Hudson Valley SPCA care for the cats. When this article was published, they were still about $2,000 short of the goal. But they also need other donations in addition to money to care for these cats, who have multiple issues due to their previous living situation.
The Hudson Valley SPCA needs dry food - Purina Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin. They also need Royal Canin Hair and Skin. They need canned food, lots of blankets and towels, metal water bowls, vaporizers, and pine litter from Tractor Supply.
