Hudson Valley Could See ‘Record’ Heat
The calendar has turned to October, but you might not want to put away your summer clothes just yet as record-breaking heat might arrive in the Hudson Valley.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures in the Hudson Valley are expected to be around 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
"Warm and humid conditions continue Wednesday, with the potential for record, to near record, heat across much of the area. The approaching cold front will be the determining factor of the record heat," The National Weather Service wrote in its regional weather summary.
The high temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday in Orange, Ulster, Dutchess and Putnam counties are right around 80 degrees. While Rockland and Westchester counties could see temps reach near 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service
