Happy Birthday Baby Girl

It's 11:30 on a Friday Night and the Dr just told us to get some sleep because baby would be here by the end of the weekend.  We settle in, my wife in the hospital bed and me on a pull out chair that feels like a cot.

This is it.  This is a life changing weekend.  Let's get some sleep.  "BRYAN!!!  Bryan!"  I hear as I wake up and look at my wife.  "My water broke.  She's coming!"

Just over 24 hours later our beautiful princess came into this world.  I remember every second of the time we were in the hospital and her birth as if it was yesterday.  It wasn't.  It was 1 year ago.  1 year!

My beautiful baby girl just turned 1 year old.  I remember holding her for the first time like it was yesterday.  She would fall asleep on my chest everyday.  She still does but it's not as much as a year ago.

My life has changed so much in the past year but it's been worth it.

My memories will never go away and my love just keeps growing.

Happy Birthday baby girl.  Enjoy being 1 because if this is any indication, life is going to fly by!
