Firehouses All Over New York Need You
If you were driving home Thursday, March 28th traveling on Route 32 in Newburgh around 7 PM, you may have been rerouted due to a head-on collision. At approximately 6:53 PM there was a head-on collision at Fostertown Road and Route 32 in the Town of Newburgh.
The Cronomer Valley Fire Department responded to help the injured individuals. From the looks of what they shared on social media, the crash seemed pretty bad but it was shared that there were no fatalities.

Every day our local Hudson Valley firefighters come to our aid. There are fires, car accidents, and other community emergencies. It takes a special person to be able to drop everything and go.
It takes a special person to care this much for strangers.

All over the Hudson Valley during the first two weeks of April, our local volunteer fire departments are encouraging people to come to special events designed to entice you to volunteer, You might be surprised at all you can do to help even if you aren't a trained firefighter yet.
After sharing the work they did Thursday night to help those injured in the crash on Route 32, Cronomer Valley Fire House took a moment to invite anyone interested to stop at the firehouse at 296 N. Plank Road either Monday or Wednesday and pick up an application.
If you don't live in Newburgh, New York don't let that stop you. Get out and volunteer. Check in at your local Fire department.
