The summer has flown by, and now it is August. Hopefully, we can count on a few cool days; July was brutal. One thing we can count on is all the fun we can have that will be happening in the next few weeks.
Events that Will Help Close Out the Summer in the Hudson Valley
Summer concerts, County fairs, and other special events will help us say goodbye to Summer 2025 in a great way while looking forward to the Fall. The Dutchess County Fair gets underway on August 19th, 2025.

August 8th through August 10th, 2025 - Field of Tools at the Blackthorne Resort in East Durham, New York, sounds like fun for anyone who likes to build or work with tools. This is the first-ever weekend devoted to celebrating tools that help make the things we love.

Locust Grove Brewing Company Music Fest in Milton, New York
Saturday, August 30th, 2025 - Don't miss the first-ever Locust Grove Music Fest from 2 PM to 6 PM. It is free, family-friendly, and you can enjoy 6 fantastic bands. Come hungry and enjoy delicious food from a variety of food trucks. The bar will be open with craft cider, beer, and wine, along with non-alcoholic choices. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or a blanket.
