A Unique Magical Weekend Planned in the Hudson Valley

I will be honest, lately my personal reading list has been a bit short. I read so much content for work, I rarely get time to grab a book for pleasure. Maybe if I finally get that long weekend at the beach, I can pick up where I left off in one of the many books I have started on my shelf.

Magical Book Event Comes To the MJN Convention Center

In the meantime, I am keeping my eyes out for my next cool book find. Recently, on my way to work, I have been passing a sign at the MJN Convention Center for Spellbound in the Valley. It appears to be a big book gathering and more planned for October 24 and 25, 2025.

Figuring this might appeal to my inner Anne Rice fan, I dug deeper, and here is what I have discovered. I have to say, I think it is brilliant that they brought this event to a town with its own Witchcraft District. I am sharing what I have uncovered so far, below.

Spellbound in the Valley is Planned for October 24th and 25th in Poughkeepsie

It is billed as a Magical Weekend in the Hudson Valley, bringing spooky vibes and bookish fun to the area. It will be held over two days at the MJN Convention Center in Poughkeepsie, with a few events scheduled at other venues.

They have a variety of vendors expected, some local and others traveling in from many different places. They are expecting 100 plus authors and vendors featuring from Dark Romance, Dark Fantasy, Paranormal, Monster, Horror, Thriller, and everything that goes bump in the night.

The final event of the weekend will be a costume party at the Keepsake in Poughkeepsie. Everything is ticketed, so you can get tickets that suit your interests.
