Friday’s Wet Weather Results In Events Being Rescheduled On Walkway
The round of weird wet weather continues into the weekend and is now causing events to be rescheduled and canceled in the Hudson Valley.
Hudson Valley Hospice Event on Walkway Over the Hudson Rescheduled
Today, the Walkway over the Hudson announced that it will be rescheduling events that were going to take place on Friday (tomorrow), May 9th. The word is being spread through the organization involved and the Walkway over the Hudson's Social Media, but I want to get the word out as well.

Mother Nature obviously didn't get the memo for good weather on Friday. Not only will there be a Flood Watch in effect in the area of the Walkway over the Hudson, but it appears Friday's weather is a complete washout. That being said, two events are being rescheduled that were slotted to happen on the Walkway on Friday.
Lights Over the Hudson Rescheduled from May to August
One of the events being rescheduled was going to be a very special night for Hudson Valley Hospice and its supporters. Lights across the Hudson is a special evening of remembrance, hope, and togetherness. This event will now be held on Friday, August 8th at 7 PM.

The other event that the Walkway has had to postpone a day is the Walkway Connections: Native Plants and Pollinators. This event will now be one day later, Saturday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. For more details, you can visit this link: walkway.org/walkwayconnections.
