We can all use something fun to look forward to these days. It can be the simplest thing, like banging pots and pans at 7 PM. Or maybe it's you weekly Zoom call with your friends. No matter how big or how small it just feels good to have something on your social calendar during New York Pause. Members of the Esopus Fire House realize this so they have planned a drive by for Saturday May 9th.

According to a Facebook post put up today the Esopus Fire Department planed to tour the district starting at 3pm on May 9th. The are hoping it will be exciting for children and all us big kids at heart. They plan to cover the whole district but they want to make sure they catch everyone so they are asking you to contact them through social media or email (contact@esopusfd.com) to be sure they don't miss anyone.

In their press release they said "the Esopus Fire Department has and will continue to respond to your calls for help and provide the quality response and care that the residents have come to expect. We know how hard everyone has been hit by this pandemic and would like to not only continue to provide an essential service but also spread some joy and smiles, from a distance."

If you see them go by they would love you to share your photos and thoughts on social media with the hashtags: #EsopusFD, #StaySafeStayHome, #WeBringTheOpenHouseToYou, #EsopusFireDriveBy, and #EsopusStrong
