If you need help, it is available.

The layers of issues that are being uncovered during the COVID-19 pandemic has been overwhelming. With just about everything shutting down, kids being schooled from home, many parents having to work from home a lot has changed and some people maybe be struggling with it.

With that in mind we welcomed a Hudson Valley expert on alcoholism and substance abuse on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show to talk about some of the signs you can look for if you think you or someone in your family might be developing a problem with alcohol or drugs.

Sue Cusack from Villa Veritas joined us and talked about some of the questions we can all ask to see if maybe someone in our life is developing an issue. Some of the questions she asked included, Do you worry about how much someone is drinking? Do you have money problems because of someones drinking or drugging? Are plans ever cancelled because of drinking? Have you ever gave a person in your life a threat that you will leave if they don't stop?

If you answered yes to any or all of those type of questions, Sue told us that Villa Veritas can help you and your family. They have been helping families recover and learn the blueprint of sobriety in a calm and peaceful environment according to their website.

It's a difficult time for many of us and if you feel like you need help give Sue a call anytime at (845) 626-3555 or their after hours number at (845) 532-2418.

Listen to the Wakin' Up With CJ and Jess Show weekday mornings from 6AM to noon on The Wolf. Stream us live through the website, Alexa-enabled device, Google Home or The Wolf mobile app.
