The event takes place Tuesday at the Town of Fishkill Town Hall.

The training session gets underway at 7 p.m. and will show attendees how to acquire tools and resources to better prepare for any type of disaster. Plus how to respond in case of a disaster as well as how to recover quickly to pre-disaster conditions. They will also continue to spread their idea to Plan, Prepare and Practice.

The event is being put on by the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response and the Town of Fishkill Supervisor Bob LaColla and is FREE to the public.

If you plan on attending, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Hall at 807 Route 52 in Fishkill with the program starting at 7 p.m. sharp and everyone who attends will receive a free citizen's preparedness corp response starter kit.
