You've probably heard or saw on social media the topic "Squad Goals." Before you say anything, you can blame Taylor Swift for the "Squad" movement. This summer during her show, Taylor would bring out friends and special guests and then she would give them the honor of being in her "Squad."

Naturally, it caught on and if you happen to see a picture of a group of friends on Facebook or Instagram it's probably hashtagged #Squad or #SquadGoals. If you didn't understand what the heck was going on, you weren't alone. People Magazine sat down to interview Carrie Underwood and was asked about her "squad" to which she was baffled.

Carrie replied "What's squad? I don't even know squad. Like a posse? I have people I hang out with. My friends are normal people...one's a baker and the other's a stay at home mom."

I'm sure this wasn't a jab at Taylor, but back in the day Carrie, Taylor and Kellie Pickler were their own little "squad."
