Rail Explorers USA in Phoenicia, New York is open for another season of exploration and adventure.
Explore The Catskill Mountains on the Ulster & Delaware Railroad
Earlier this week, Rail Explorers USA announced they are opened for the 2024 season. Over the last few years, the Rail Explorers have grown across the nation, growing to 6 locations including 2 in New York.
Rail Explorers Catskills gives riders an opportunity to "Experience the magic of the Ulster & Delaware Railroad as you travel alongside the Esopus Creek through the beautiful woods of the Catskill Mountains. "
Guests will enjoy a 2.5 hour tour by motorized pedal bike. You can pedal, but not have to worry about putting in too much effort to get to your destination. At Rail Explorers Catskills you can choose from several tour options like The River Run, Golden Hour Tour, Mt Tremper Express and Mt Tremper Lantern Tour.
Bike cars can fit 2-4 people and its encouraged to bring drinks and snacks. When you reach the end of the trail, you'll have time to sit, enjoy the scenery and fuel up with whatever foods and drinks you bring.
Tours start at the end of April and runs until the first weekend in November.
