Met fans are well aware that one of the perks of going to Citi Field in Queens, NY to catch a ball game is not only good baseball but if you're lucky you might be able to get a picture with Mr. or Mrs. Met. As a lifelong Met fan, I've spent many days/nights at Shea Stadium, now Citi Felid and every time we go my kids are always hoping to grab a picture with either mascot.

The New York Mets have announced that they are looking for a new "Manager of Mascot Operations" to work with Mr. & Mrs according to Fox5. The job listing says,
"We are seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic individual to represent our brand as our Mascot. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for entertainment and a knack for engaging and interacting with fans of all ages. The Mascot will attend various events, both on and off-site, to promote our brand and create a fun and dynamic environment."
New York Met Mascot Salary
The full-time Manager of Mascot Operations will make anywhere from $67,000 to $89,000 a year. If you'd like to apply you can start the process online here, just be aware that if you do apply, you will need to audition on the evening of May 15th. The listing didn't specify what interested candidates would have to do at the audition but did say that the job would include an average of 20-25 office hours per week and an average of 6-24 performance hours per week.
