Taylor Swift's Ties to The Hudson Valley

It's the story Swifties know All to Well...

In 2012 Taylor Swift released an album called Red (she re-released Red Taylor's Version in 2021). On the album was a song called "All Too Well" which fans figured out was about Swift's past relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. In the song Swift writes:

We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate
Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place
And I can picture it after all these days
She continues:
'Cause there we are again on that little town street
You almost ran the red 'cause you were lookin' over at me
Wind in my hair, I was there
I remember it all too well
Legend has it these lyrics were inspired byt a little trip the couple took to the Hudson Valley in 2011. Swift and Gyllenhaal were spotted on an adorable fall date at Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction.
That's just one Hudson Valley Swift connection. The superstar also recorded a studio session of her 2020 album Folklore at Long Pond Studio in Hudson. The session was filmed for a Disney + documentary.
