Summer is in full swing in the Hudson Valley.

Yesterday, during a BBQ with friends and family we got to talking about how we used to keep busy in the summertime. There was always a game of manhunt at night with the kids in the neighborhood. During the day we were calling landlines and telling everyone to meet up at the 4 corners.

Plus during the day we were playing Box Ball in someones driveway or running through a million topics during Shark in the pool.

It makes me feel old, but we didn't have cell phones and tablets back when I was a kid. Sure, Playstation 2 was popular and all the kids at The Sims on their desktop computers, but we saved that for a rainy day.

What games do you remember playing during the summertime? Let us know on Facebook! Maybe this week we can introduce kids to all the games we used to play and limit their time on the iPad.
