The Original Country Gold with Rowdy Yates is back on The Wolf by popular demand. If you love older country, even classic country, then this is the show for you. It will air every Saturday night from 7 pm- midnight and again early Sunday morning from 6-11.

Not only does Rowdy play the songs you know and love, the ones you probably haven't heard in awhile, he also has stories and fun tidbits about your favorite country artists. Plus, each weekend he'll shine the spotlight on one of Country musics' great artists, take requests, and give away cool prizes.

Meet Rowdy, he's from Ft. Worth, TX and is the son of the legendary Texas radio newsman Joe Holstead. According to his website, Rowdy never gave much thought to any other job, other than a two day career at a Sonic Drive-In, radio is just about all he has ever done. He's been nominated three times for Disc Jockey of the Year, is a 2013 Academy of Country Music Award radio winner and is the youngest inductee into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. Currently, He's the current morning host on KVOO-FM in Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as the national host of The Original Country Gold.
