Another Massive Lottery Jackpot Winner in Upstate New York

A person has won the $10 million grand prize on a scratch-off ticket purchased at a Stewart's Shop in Upstate New York.

A very lucky lottery player is most likely still jumping for joy after they won a massive amount of money on a New York Lottery instant scratch-off ticket.

$10 Million Winning Scratch Off Ticket Sold in Upstate New York

According to the folks at Stewart's Shop, one lucky customer received the shock of a lifetime when they recently purchased a $30 scratch-off ticket and won the grand prize. The massive jackpot was won on a $10,000,000 Bonus scratch-off ticket, which was purchased at the Stewart's located on East Main Street in Canton, NY.

Stewart's said that the winning customer, whose name hasn't been released yet, "enjoys sipping coffee and playing lottery," purchased the winning ticket on Sunday, May 3rd, 2025, at the New York store. This winning ticket was the last remaining $10 million jackpot, as all five jackpots have been awarded.

Second Big Winner at Stewart's Shops in New York

The $10 million winner is the second time this year that a Stewart’s customer has won more than $1 million buying a scratch-off at their local store. The first seven-figure jackpot winner at a Stewart's store happened in February, when a customer won a $3.37 million lump-sum payment jackpot after winning $5000 a week for life on a Set For Life ticket.

That winning ticket was sold at the Stewart's Shop located at 526 Route 20 in Sharon Springs, New York.

"More than 15 Stewart’s customers have won at least $10,000 each playing scratch-off tickets at our shops so far this year," said a Stewarts representative via a press release.
