If you travel across the Tappen Zee bridge we have some good news for you.

Tolls to cross the span will now be frozen until 2020 according to News 12.

The toll freeze means that the price to cross the bridge will remain at $5 until 2020 and $4.75 for those that use EZ-Pass.

The freeze is all part of Governor Andrew Cuomo's state budget's $700 million plan that will also possibly offer a toll discount for residents who live on either side of the bridge.

The bridge connects Rockland and Westchester counties and is one of the major connectors for Hudson Valley residents to New York City.

The span is currently under construction with a new bridge being put up right next to the old one. Completion on the replacement bridge is scheduled to be done by 2018.
