Police across New York are searching for a man who is believed to be responsible for the murder of an Upstate New York woman.

The New York State Police (NYSP) are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect who they believe is responsible for the 2022 murder of a 45-year-old woman who was found deceased in a bank parking lot in Plattsburgh, New York.

New York Man Wanted for Murder

The NYSP is hoping the public can help them in locating Larry M. Hicks Jr. (below), a 47-year-old man from Tabor City, North Carolina, who is believed to be responsible for a murder based on evidence that was collected by law enforcement.

Police said that this case has been under investigation since it happened back on July 14, 2022, when NY State Police in Plattsburgh were called to respond to a welfare check on 45-year-old Monique R. Yanulavich at Westwood Drive in Plattsburgh, NY.

Police said that their investigation led them to the parking lot of the Champlain National Bank on State Route 3 in Plattsburgh, NY, where they sadly located Yanulavich deceased.

Hicks (above) is described as a white male, standing 6’7” tall, weighing approximately 300 pounds, with blue eyes and brown and gray hair. Police believe that Hicks has fled from New York and is currently in an unknown location. As the third anniversary of this tragic incident passes, the NYSP said that they are committed to solving this case and ensuring justice for the Yanulavich family.
