Police said that Courtien was last seen at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the area of Waldo Road in the Town of Dover. He was last seen wearing tan pants and a black T-shirt. At this time, investigators have not released any additional information about where he may have been headed or what led to the search.

As with any missing person case, even the smallest detail can end up making a big difference. Someone may have driven through the area, spotted someone walking along the road, or noticed something that didn't seem important at the time. Those little observations can sometimes provide investigators with the lead they need.

Missing person investigations often rely on the public to help spread the word quickly, especially in close-knit communities like those throughout the Hudson Valley. Sharing this information with friends, family, and neighbors could help get it in front of the person who has the one piece of information investigators have been looking for.
