Should He Stay or Should He Go?

It's Wednesday and time for our weekly "We Gotcha Wednesday" email from a fellow Wolf listener and this week it involves celebrating Valentine's Day with someone you really aren't that into.

Here is what Jack sent us over the weekend...

"Hey CJ and Jess, I have been with this girl for almost 4 months. I don't want to be with her anymore. She's annoying. I am going to break up with her and would like to do it now. We have some mutual friends, though, and I'm concerned that dumping this girl before Valentine's Day would not go over well. The problem is that my girlfriend is putting together a whole day of "love" for us on Valentine's Day right now, that includes a romantic lunch and dinner. I'm not sure if I can fake it for a whole day and I can't come up with a good excuse as to why I can't make it. So, should I just dump her now, or fake it through her day of "love?"

I say that if you're not feeling someone you need to get out of it ASAP, no matter what time of year it is. I think anyone on the other end of this situation would want the truth before they go all out in putting together a, as he called it "Day of Love".
