CARE Of DC Rescues 26 "At Risk Dogs"

Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County announced in a statement to social media that they recently took in 26 "at risk" dogs.

In the statement they explain that it was an "emergency transport of 26 "at risk" dogs." The dogs ranged in ages from 2 months to 9 years old.

The CARE of DC team is currently "working around the clock" to ensure that each of these dogs is getting the care they need. The dogs are

being vetted, evaluated, vaccinated, treated, loved, and given time to decompress as we learn who they are and what each one needs to thrive.

In the post CARE of DC explains that over the next few days, they'll be sharing the individual stores, a little insight on their personalities and "the incredible transformations" they hope to see now that the pups are finally safe.

CARE of DC's Promise to Newly Rescued Pups

With that being said, CARE is also sharing their promise to the 26 dogs they rescued. CARE writes:

No more fear.
No more neglect.
No more uncertainty.
No more wondering where they belong.

They go on to add "From this moment forward, they will know love, safety, kindness, and compassion."

Local Rescue Saves 20 Dogs From Hoarding House

Another local rescue here in the Hudson Valley just made a big rescue as well.

Take Me Home Pet Rescue, a foster based organization, brought in 20 dogs from a single family home in the Hudson Valley.

Out of the 20 dogs, many of them were puppies. 11 of those puppies were found crammed together in a small crate.

Several other rescues jumped in to assist Take Me Home in bringing in such a large group of dogs. Hudson Paws Dog Rescue, Dutchess County SPCA , The Incredible Pups Pet Rescue and Happy Life Animal Rescue all jumped at the opportunity to help.
