Shake Off The Cold with Pancakes

Next time you drive by your local fire department make sure you check the public board out front or you might miss out on a great meal. Fire departments have some of the best cooks in the Hudson Valley so when they are putting on a meal it is not to be missed.

Summer BBQ's, fried fish nights, spaghetti dinners and the family favorite pancake breakfasts are all reasons to stop in to your local department. This weekend I am lucky enough to have a pancake breakfast at my local fire department in Esopus. If you are looking for a tummy warming breakfast to fight off this bitter cold weekend you have to come by the Esopus Fire House on Route 9W anytime from 8:30a to 11:30a and enjoy all they are cooking up.

If you can't make it this Sunday they do these events monthly so you can plan on being there February 4th or March 4th.
