This has to be the worst thing that can happen on a day like today.

As if driving in snow and sleet isn't hard enough, try doing it with no windshield wipers. Actually don't try it, it's way to dangerous.

I had no choice at 5 a.m. this morning as I got myself ready to come in to the station. Let the truck warm up and after I cleaned off all the snow and ice, I got back into the truck and went to turn on the windshield wipers and got NOTHING!! Yes it was the perfect day for the windshield wipers to decided to crap the bed on me.

So after trying to figure out what was wrong with them for about 10 minutes and I had a conversation with myself about whether or not I should just call in to work and go back to bed or chance and drive in without any wipers.

I decided that if I called in and told Jess that I'm not coming in because my wipers don't work that I would never hear the end of it, so I buckled up and drove in.

It took me about an hour to get here from Fishkill, it normally takes about 20-25 minutes. Now if you were on the road at about 5:15 a.m. this morning and saw a crazy guy stopping at every light and getting out of the truck and manually moving his wipers. THAT WAS ME!!!!

Yes, I got here safe and sound, but now I have no idea how I am going to get home with no wipers?

I was worried until I got a great suggestion from you guys.

Here is a little REDNECK INGENUITY, Macgyver Style....
