Pumpkin Carvers Needed in Beacon

If you love to carve pumpkins, then this is the event for you. Next Friday, Oct. 26 at Long Dock Park in Beacon, Scenic Hudson is Hosting a Halloween Jack-O'Lantern event you just can't miss. It doesn't matter if you are a professional carver or not all are welcome to enjoy this gathering to show off your pumpkin carving skills. The plan is to show off the park's newest addition with Jack-O'-Lanterns ablaze.

Starting on Monday, Oct. 22 thru Thursday, Oct. 25 from 3pm to 6pm join Scenic Hudson at their River Center at 8 Long Dock Road to help carve all the pumpkins. The pumpkins will be supplied by Scenic Hudson and will be carved on site. Then on Friday, Oct. 26 from 6pm to 8pm the pumpkins will be lit and displayed throughout the park. Be sure to dress for the weather and bring a flashlight they are highly recommended.

All of the events are free to enjoy. Feel free to wear a costume. There will be a photo booth so you can be sure to capture the fun. Check out and use #longdockpumpkins and #scenichudson.
