Chelsea Fire Company Hosts Pumpkin Carving

This weekend is the official pumpkin carving weekend if you follow the guidelines of when it is best to carve a pumpkin. If you do it more than five days before Halloween you risk the chance of your pumpkin rotting. The Chelsea Fire company must have know this fun fact when they pick this Saturday to be the date for Pumpkin Carving in Chelsea.

Join the Chelsea Fire Company and others from the community this Saturday at the fire house on 16 Liberty Street in Chelsea from 1 PM to 5 PM for pumpkin carving fun. This family event is for all ages. The Chelsea Fire Company will open their doors and provide pumpkins and pumpkin decorating supplies. Parent this is a great event. For a small donation you will have a pumpkin or pumpkins to carve and decorate in,a safe and clean environment for you and your children.

As you know carving a pumpkin can be quite messy. What better way to do it then where some once else can help with the cleanup. Plus pumpkin carving can lead to a home accident so why not do it under the watchful eye of a fireman. Everything in one stop. The pumpkin, pumpkin carving fun, the tools you need to carve the pumpkin plus donuts, cider and coffee.
