Police: Ulster Woman Stabbed Man Multiple Times Near Bakery
A Hudson Valley man was found with multiple stab wounds at a local bakery.
On Saturday around 9:40 a.m., the Ulster Police Department responded to a 911 call for a victim of a stabbing at the Bread Alone Bakery on Ulster Avenue in the Town of Ulster.
An investigation revealed that a 39-year-old man from Saugerties was stabbed multiple times by 39-year-old Kimberly M. Roberts, police say. The alleged stabbing occurred at Roberts' home on Ulster Avenue a short distance from Bread Alone
The victim left the home and walked to Bread Alone where he was treated by Good Samaritans until the arrival of police, fire and ems personnel, officials say.
He was transported to Health Alliance Hospital Broadway Campus for initial treatment and later transferred to Mid-Hudson Regional in Poughkeepsie for further treatment. His condition wasn't released.
Roberts was charged with assault, a felony and criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. She was remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.
