According to a press release posted to the Orange County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, an 11-year-old autistic child went missing this morning, and the Orange County Sheriff's Office was asked to assist in the search by the Village of Montgomery Police Department. The request came in just before 7 AM.

Deputy Brian Burger and K-9 Jett were asked to search for a boy who had left home around 5:40 AM but did not return. After searching around the home, Jett was able to pick up a scent that led them to the woods and into a valley behind the house.
