Ole Savannah Transforming Into Something New

According to the Ole Savannah Southern Table & Bar website, the restaurant will begin to transition from Ole Savannah into a new restaurant called The Cornell over the next couple of months. The new restaurant will be a collaboration between owner Dave Amato and Jessica Mino and is expected to be completed by spring 2025. This won't be the first time Amato and Mino have worked together as Mino played a crucial role in the success of Amato’s newest restaurant, Brickmen Kitchen + Bar located at 47 N Front St, Kingston, NY.

The Cornell in Kingston, NY

"Over the years, Ole Savannah’s menu has evolved, and we want to reflect this development in our brand, too. With the reimaging of an essential Downtown destination, The Cornell will pay homage to Kingston’s rich maritime history, in the same way that Brickmen pays homage to the area’s historic brick industry." Said Dave Amato, Owner of Ole Savannah.

What Should Guests Expect?

Renovations to the interior and exterior of the restaurant will celebrate Kingston's history and its commitment to the community, along with "redefining the dining experience in Kingston by offering a menu that emphasizes innovative global fusion cuisine grounded in comfort food but inspired by contemporary flavors and techniques."

When the transition is complete, The Cornell will continue to be the go-to place for hosting events, celebrations, and gatherings, preserving the legacy of hospitality and service that Ole Savannah is known for.
