Contrary to the internet rumors Steve Burns is alive and well.
Steve Burns to Perform in Beacon, New York
Over the last few years, Burns became an unsung hero on social media checking in with his millennial fans during the craziness of COVID and just being an overall comforting presence.

Is Steve Burns a New Yorker?
Kind of.
According to an article for Variety that was published back in November 2022 he's lived in New York for a few years.
When you think actor and NY you probably think New York City, right? The article shares that Burns has been living in a town in the Catskill Mountains (he didn't want the town named shared, and we can't blame him). Burns has been an Upstate, New York resident for over 6 years.
Burns was born and raised in Pennsylvania.
During graduation season, Burns was invited to be the Commencement Speaker at SUNY Delhi in Delaware County.
