Crime happens everywhere, even in jail.

According to the Daily Freeman, Raymond Benjamin, of Cairo, a volunteer for Catholic Charities at the Coxsackie Correctional Facility has been charged with stealing money from prison visitors that was intended for inmates.

Police told the Freeman that Benjamin volunteered at the facility. His job was to assist visitors with paperwork for visitation with inmates. However, rather than deliver money to intended recipients, Benjamin stole it.

Police did not release any further information.
